The Retail Live! Approach

Founded in 2012 Retail Live! is a national commercial real estate networking event company that brings retailers together with the industry’s leading Landlords, Brokers & Developers. Like other dealmaking and networking events Retail Live! has a trade show component to the program as well as a cocktail reception following the trade show. However, the key difference at Retail Live! versus other events are the amount of retailer exhibitors. 90% of all exhibitors are retailers expanding in the region where the event is hosted. The remaining 10% of exhibitors are made up of VIP sponsors of the event. Attendees not only have the chance to present sites to these retailers without the hassle of scheduling a meeting in advance, but they leave with a copy of each retailers site criteria and contact information contained in the Retail Live! Stacey Mooney is the founder of Retail Live!  Stacey’s primary role at Retail Live! is to secure the commitments of the participating retailers and sponsors for the programs and the overall promotion of Retail Live! nationally. Stacey has been in the commercial real estate industry for 22 years with extensive experience in landlord, developer, and tenant representation. Stacey is a Licensed Florida & Texas Real Estate Broker, a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and has key relationships with numerous Tenants, Developers, and Brokers throughout the country.

Erica Darling
Vice President, Retail Live!

Erica Darling serves as Vice President of Retail Live!, one of the nation’s premier commercial real estate networking events. In her leadership role, she oversees day-to-day operations, manages cross-functional teams, and develops systems, processes, and best practices that streamline operations and enhance the attendee experience across all Retail Live! events.

With over 12 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, Erica has a strong background in event management, marketing, sponsorship development, and business operations. She is responsible for planning and executing Retail Live! events from concept to completion, including event strategy, marketing campaigns, exhibitor and retailer recruitment, sponsorship fulfillment, and on-site execution. Prior to Retail Live!, she spent five years with EDGE Realty Partners in Austin, Texas, where she managed marketing strategies, prospecting efforts, and market research for the leasing team.

Erica holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas Permian Basin.

Outside of work, Erica enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and staying active in her community.

Jackie Darkazalli is the Director of Sponsorships at Retail Live!, where she drives partnership strategy and sponsor engagement for our dynamic commercial real estate  events across key U.S. markets. With over 15 years of experience in marketing, events, and operations, Jackie has built a career around elevating brands, strengthening client engagement, and creating scalable systems that drive measurable results.

Jackie began her career in 2011, working across marketing, operations, and corporate communications for organizations in real estate, construction, and property management. Over the years, she has managed large-scale campaigns, national events, digital media programs, and brand development projects, earning a reputation for bringing creativity, structure, and strategic clarity to fast-moving environments. That same passion for brand building led her to found Elevate Marketing & Events, a full-service marketing agency specializing in brand strategy, social campaigns, event planning, and creative storytelling for businesses looking to rise above the noise. Prior to her current roles, she led marketing and operations for WMG Development supporting a pipeline of over $450 million.

Jackie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Florida State University.

In her free time, Jackie enjoys running, cooking, exploring theme parks, attending live music events, and spending time with her two dogs. A Central Florida native, she is also an avid traveler and fitness enthusiast who values family, good food, and meaningful moments.
